Beginner Courses

Beginner classes are geared to novice shooters, including first-time shooters. 

Never fired a gun before?  Don't be intimidated!  These classes are for you.  

You'll be warmly welcomed by more experienced shooters who will show you the basics, patiently helping you with any areas you have difficulty with.  You'll learn basic firearm nomenclature, firearm safety, firearm storage tips, and the fundamentals of shooting, including stance, grip, trigger pull, etc.  You won't be an expert at the end of a basic firearm class, but you will have an excellent foundation to continue your learning with subsequent classes or to grow on your own.

As an added bonus, many of these basic courses satisfy the training requirement for many states' right-to-carry licenses - including Florida's which is recognized in almost thirty states!

So, if you're not sure about guns or are curious about which gun is right for you, consider one of these classes.  Many courses even offer an opportunity to use one or more "loaner" guns to give you a chance to try out different types and models of guns.

These classes also make great gifts for loved ones, particularly those who have almost everything already.  As Ben Franklin once said, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
