Guns Save Life's mission includes promoting and encouraging shooting sports by offering hunter safety and marksmanship programs to all who wish to enjoy their benefits.  This web site is dedicated to bringing a listing of available coursework together in a single place.  Guns Save Life is proud to sponsor a growing number of courses to help those wishing to learn firearm safety and proficiency.

Much of the training is tailored for beginners and even first-time shooters.  These courses provide a solid foundation for more advanced studies and often satisfy the training requirement for a Florida concealed carry permit which allows the bearer to carry a firearm in nearly thirty states (but not Illinois).

Intermediate classes provide some advanced training for those looking to build upon skills learned in basic firearm classes - without breaking the bank!  These courses offer training in everything from practical shooting skills to detailed training on the judicious use of deadly force and decision-making in high-stress situations.

Advanced coursework is available from nationally-known expert instructors.  Some of these courses, before now, required extensive travel to take advantage of.  Now, through GSL Defense Training, we're bringing these instructors to Central Illinois!
